Make Money From Home Today

I hear it all the time in the make money from home niche, “Don’t do this!” or “Don’t do that because it doesn’t work.”

That’s what I call an absolute.

And let me tell you, you need to watch out for these because “absolutes” are probably responsible for more business and marketing failures than anything else combined – and I’m not kidding.

But why are these absolutes so dangerous? The easiest way to explain it is with an example.

Let’s say for example your good friend, Dana, decides to take up article marketing. She writes a ton of articles, submits them to article directories pointing to her blog or her sales page. A week goes by and no sales. Another week goes by and still no sales.

Finally, after a month of doing this, Dana decides that article marketing doesn’t work.

Now article marketing may not have worked for Dana, but that doesn’t mean that article marketing in and of itself doesn’t work – it just didn’t work for Dana.

Why didn’t it work for Dana?

Who the heck knows! The possibilities are endless.

Maybe she’s a bad writer.

Maybe she did poor keyword research and the keywords she targeted were all wrong.

Maybe she had a bad headline, resulting in her article not being read.

Maybe her resource box wasn’t compelling enough to get the reader to click through.

Heck! She could have used the wrong affiliate link and wasn’t receiving credit for her sales.

The possibilities are endless! But the point is,  just because it didn’t work for Dana doesn’t mean that article marketing as an “absolute” doesn’t work at all.

In other words, if one person can be successful with article marketing – or whatever you’re trying to do – then everyone can be.

It’s just a matter of getting it RIGHT the first time.

So please be careful of “absolutes”…they’ll kill your make money from home business.
