From Zero to Six Figures!
My name is Mke Byrd and I am a full time work-from-home entrepreneur, making a successful living from various offline and online sources.
It’s been 18 years so maybe I should back up and give you a quick picture of how I got where I am today. Here’s the short version…
I was in my last couple of weeks of college and I had one of those poingant moments that made me realize I wasn’t about to waste a $100K Emory University education delivering pizzas. Heck! I didn’t even want to work for someone else. So I decided I was going to make it on my own and work for myself – be my own boss.
I asked my parents, who had already been successfully working from home for ten years, what their secret was and the first thing they said I had to do was forget everything I learned in college. (Funny advice, I thought, after they paid all that money.)
They went on to say, if you want to be your own boss, work from home and be a success, then you have to learn things they don’t teach you in college. And, at that moment, they made it abundantly clear that I did NOT have what it took.
But I’m a quick study. I learned what I needed and have since trained hundreds of other people to be successful working from home too.
Paying It Forward…
It’s been an incredible ride to where I am today, living in the Smoky Mountains with my wonderful wife, my four fabulous children, a big ol’ dog and a pushy cat that runs the house.
I’ve had my share of struggles and ups and downs – mostly ups in the last 12 years, but the lessons I’ve learned have been invaluable – lessons you definitely can’t buy in college.
And these are the lessons I have to offer to you. I’m committed to success, whether it’s your success or mine, because success always attracts more success.
Nobody’s really made it to the top by themselves. They’ve always had a support system of like minded people working on their behalf – what you might call a mastermind group.
I’m working on your behalf. I’ll never push you BUT I’ll certainly challenge you and show you what you’re capable of. And some day you can pass it on to someone else – someone like yourself, someone committed to being the best they can be.
